Roadmap

The Compound roadmap is managed in the team board. To keep things organised, we follow these guidelines:

• Internal milestones & issues live in compound-internal.
• Public milestones & issues live in compound.
• Milestones are numbered sequentially to easily infer the order of execution.
• Issues should always belong to a strategic milestone.
• The board is the source of truth.

Milestones

Phase I: Foundation

• C0: Internal setup: Getting the org set up to collaborate on foundations, with key stakeholders.
• C1: Internal requirements: Clarity on business or internal requirements. Commercial opportunities or constraints.
• C2: Internal R&D. R&D to validate opportunities either for the 'Foundation' or 'Adoption' phases.
• C3: Token fundamentals. Token architecture set up for designers and developers.
• C4: Tooling. Tokens integrated with key workflows and target codebases.
• C5: Documentation. Mature documentation on all fronts related to Phase I.

Phase II: Adoption

Developing...

• Adopt the design system into target codebases:
  • ElementX iOS
  • ElementX Android
  • Element Web
  • Element Call
  • OIDC
  • Integration Manager
  • Admin tooling

Phase III: Evolution

Developing...

• Mature governance based on adopting the design system in Phase II.
