Note: Lodestone is in no way related to, sponsored by, endorsed by, or endorsing playit.gg. We simply took their open-source client and integrated it into Lodestone Core.

What is playit.gg

From their website: playit.gg is a global proxy that allows anyone to host a server without port forwarding.

It means that, when using Lodestone, you can create playit.gg tunnels for your friends to connect without port forwarding!

Using playit.gg Integration

Make sure you are on Lodestone Core version 0.5.0-beta.4, and using dashboard on dev.lodestone.cc.

For those that are self-hosting and building from source, the latest on dev branch will do.

Make sure to enable playit.gg integration in the setting:

When prompted if you would like to add an new agent, click continue.

After some setting up from playit's side, you should be brought to playit's dashboard.

Create a new tunnel, make sure the port matches the server's port.

Returning to Lodestone's dashboard, make sure to turn on playit.gg's tunnel, and you should see your newly created tunnel!
