This page aims to collect on-going project related to IPv6 Multicast development.

- Considered one more design approach where we can run pimv6 as a thread inside the same daemon.
- After considering all the 3 design approaches, concluded on using Design 2.
- Yang model was discussed as well.

- VMware team members to work on the initial pim6d daemon and data structure changes and to implement MLDv1 and MLDv2
- Whereas DELL team will work on PIMv6 development.
Dec 16, 2021:
- Discussed on feature List and CLIs.
- Decided to use local GitHub for some part of the development and then use FRR master branch for the remaining development.
- UT will be done by the developers.
- Vijay from VMware to support for topotest and end-to-end functionality testing.
- Compilation issues once address family changes are merged. Intimate Dell team to start working along to fix it.
