Popups not working any more

Clicking "Customize Slack" (or any of the administration links in the menu) used to create a popup. This doesn't work any more. Instead, nothing happens, not even an external browser window opens. See attached screenshot.

There is also no error message in the JS console.
Franz version: 5.0.0-beta.15 (5.0.0-beta.15.607) on recent macOS.

This is big problem and after one year it still does not work.
Can we expect any solution?

After several weeks of using Franz app, I am forced to leave, because of these significant issues with Slack are not solved at all for a long time, despite many people are reporting it.
It looks like there is no hope to expect fix and wait longer.
It makes quite a usability problem with Slack. Hopefully, it will be fixed sometimes,
and will be happy to look back again ;)

i have the same issue...popups seem not to work in general in Slack..preventing Google login and Huddles...makes it quite bad to use for now :(
