This is an awesome program. Kudos to you for making it. It's a really awesome idea.

I'd like to take it a step further. How difficult would it be to create an "Options" page like many extensions have, where you can specify one specific app to run when the Crouton app is run?

That way, you could (for example) click on the app icon in the Chrome OS "taskbar", and have it open a VLC window.

This is a possibility however it would require one chromeOS app per app.

If there was some sort of script, which used a .desktop file as input (or similar parameters), and packaged a Chrome app as output, that would be perfect.

As I have never developed a Chrome app, I don't know how possible that would be.
