Additional Zcoin Supply

This wiki page documents all the additional supply in Zcoin created from Zerocoin forgeries:

There is a total of 446,667 additional Zcoins created (~2% of total supply). Do note that some blocks had Znode payments excluded or had miners burning their fees and therefore the Znode reward / fees were effectively burnt. The total of this burn is 4,178.6702221 coins.

Therefore there is an additional 442,488.329779 XZC in circulation than theoretical.

Our total supply number has been adjusted from 21 million to 21.4 million in light of this. The remaining coins (~42,488 coins) will be taken from the tail-end distribution.

All forged coins are honored and form part of supply. Due to the private nature of Zerocoin transactions, it is impossible to blacklist transactions and those that weren't Zerocoined have been liquidated on exchanges.

Other Zerocoin incidents happened as follows:

October 10, 2017 - November 13, 2017 - 18,171 coins (Fixed in v0.13.3.2)

March 8, 2018 - March 12, 2018 (Zerocoin serial flaw during Zerocoin recode) - 14,646 coins (Fixed in v.0.13.5.7)

December 18, 2018 (Multi Input Spend flaw)- 10,800 coins (Fixed in v.0.13.7.6)
