Steps to reproduce

  1. I was in https://matrix.to/#/%23element-x-ios:matrix.org
  2. Typed a msg (using normal composer; nothing special)
  3. Hit send
  4. No local echo
  5. No remote echo
  6. Checked in another client; the msg never sent.
  7. Msg not shown as failed.
