I haven't paid attention to the issues, here, recently. Sorry.
Can you update to the latest version, and tell me if you still experience problems?

What browser + script extension are you using?
Are you identified with google?

[edit] which version of the script are you using?

In the past, some users have had issues with combinations of extensions and/or scripts. The solution to identify that situation is to create a new profile, install only the scripting extension and this script, and see if it still fails.

On my side I'll try to reproduce the problem, and see if google is implementing a new layout on some users.

Chrome version 86.0.4240.111 (Official Build) (64-bit), userscript version 1.5.0.8, Tampermonkey 4.11. Tested with signed in and signed out.

You should use userscript v1.5.0.14 (read the method in the first comment of this thread to load it properly)

1.5.0.14 works fine. Thank you!
