If not, would the project be open to adopting one? For example, black seems to be an industry standard (used by the entire Django codebase). In order to avoid having a large commit break git-blame, git also contains a feature for ignoring non-functional changes like a project wide format change (see here for an example https://github.com/postgres/postgres/blob/master/.git-blame-ignore-revs).
