Pat fails in certain MC datasets (2012 branch)

@jmhogan, in some MC datasets like this one or this one, for instance, the pat routine fails for all files in the dataset. It is weird because in others, like DY, TTbar or W+jets, it works fine. Do you have any idea what it could be? Maybe they lack a collection? I will run these two without pat.
