I so want to believe in you because your plugin is very useful, but your development schedule is so unreliable. I already had to abandon Email because it took you close to a year to update it for Craft4 and it's still in beta with Craft5 coming out the end of this month. Your Craft5 version is showing as planned, does this mean it will take another year before it's released?

@theurbanu All fair comments. If you need a predictable path to Craft 5, I'd encourage you to look at other options that can provide that path for you right now. I am working toward getting our plugins back to a place where I can directly address timing questions as are important for development schedules but that will likely be in the Craft 5/6 timeframe.

The path from Craft 3 to Craft 4 has been rough (from code debt to other things in life) and I had to take a step back and focus on simplifying the Sprout codebase and scope of our plugins. My first priority right now is just getting our core plugins updated to reliable foundation on Craft 4 — SEO and Forms still remain — and that will likely take a few more months. At that point, the focus will shift to getting the plugins compatible with Craft 5 (and not adding any new features that don't help with that goal). While I haven't evaluated how long that will take, the path from Craft 4/5 involves a lot less complexity than the changes that happened in Craft 3/4.

Thank you for your response and honesty. I'm rooting for you and will continue to keep an eye out, so that I can come back, once you're able to get things back on solid ground. :)
